Self Portrait

I am completely self educated when it comes to drawing. I've never had an art/drawing class of any kind. I prefer to learn things by myself and with my own phase.

I've been drawing since I was about 16 or so, more after I was 21. First I was making mostly city/street drawings, but since 2007 I moved on to portraits. I find them more interesting and difficult than street views.

In May 2009 I started making drawing videos for YouTube.com.

FAQ

What brand of pencils do you use?
Stabilo Micro 8000, Koh-I-Noor 1502/II and Progresso woodless graphite sticks (for black areas).

How long does it take to draw a portrait?
It depends on the style of drawing I make. A more sketchy style drawing takes usually around 4-5 hours. And a more photographic look takes 16 - 30 hours. Depends on the level of details the drawing has.

How do you choose who to draw?
Mostly I just draw people that I like. Actors from tv-shows that I watch or some YouTubers who I subscribe to. Sometimes I draw a celebrity that people have been requesting me to draw.

Do you sell any of your work?
You can buy prints of my drawings from my Print Shop.
